to the GSR Secondhand Page. For those of you who are Internet
Guru's, you will be pleased to know that our Vision for the GSR
Website will play Host to the Largest Collection of Secondhand
Instruments and Equipment anywhere in Western Australia. However
all good things take time and we will be doing our best to
realise this for our members.
Because
of our name Geodetic Supply & Repair we have discovered our
niche Market is in the Recondition and TLC of Used Equipment
ready for Resale.
Therefore
we are happy to either
A
) Have your Instrument ( As Is ) on Consignment terms
for viewing by the right trades. A $25 +GST holding fee will
apply on all Items. Please have your asking Price in mind. A
commission will go to GSR on all sold items.
B
) Recondition your Instrument and add value to your
Final Sale Price.
C
) Trade in your old piece of Equipment for a New
Instrument. ( Keeping in mind that you could obtain a better
price Selling in the Private Market. )
D
) Once our Web Site is fully functional, we can Offer
your Secondhand Gear as per Section A. This can lead to a broader
market for viewing and a Quicker turn around. Added costs may
apply for this service.
For
all those who have purchased secondhand Equipment from Pawn
Brokers, Auctions or Privately, you would be wise to have these
Items Assessed and Serviced by GSR. The last thing you need is to
have purchased an incomplete unit or one that is not accurate. IT
COULD COST YOU DEARLY IN THE END. We have seen it many times. No
one likes Re work. A $35 +GST minimum charge will apply for all
items that require an assesment.
Anyway, yes GSR do carry Secondhand Instruments & Equipment
in our Store for those who are interested.
