The Surveyors Gammon Reel is used to suspend a plumb bob under a surveying instrument. It can also be used to suspend a plumb bob while providing a target to accurately position with a surveying instrument.
Automatically rewinds when not in use. Save time with setting up your tripod and instrument.
Pull the string out as much as you need, slip over your plumb-bob and then retract the length as needed depending on the height of your tripod. Eliminates tangled, broken and muddy string, no knots needed. 2m ( 6.5 ft) length.
